At the "Dreamers to Doers" event, I had the honor of participating as one of the panelists, where I shared insights on volunteerism, leadership, and the journey from ideation to implementation. This event marked my first public speaking engagement, and I thoroughly enjoyed the enriching discussions with fellow panelists.
In my segment, I reiterated the foundational aspects of developing a volunteer mindset and kickstarting a volunteer journey through involvement in existing organizations or launching personal initiatives. I provided useful resources such as Volunteer Radar and the Unified Orgs website to help attendees find volunteering opportunities.
Furthermore, I delved into the story behind founding Conceptians, a nonprofit organization established in 2022. I discussed the challenges I encountered along the way, both as an organization founder and as a leader, and shared my future plans for the nonprofit. Additionally, I introduced the concept of the Leadership Compass, a tool designed to help individuals discover their leadership personality and enhance their leadership skills.
The event was a valuable platform for sharing experiences and strategies, inspiring attendees to transform their dreams into actionable projects and become effective leaders in their communities.
