Conceptians

July 1, 2022 — Present

In the summer holidays of 2022, my seven classmates and I founded a student-led organization called "Conceptians," aimed at sharing extensive information about international education. Initially, we were simply writing articles on "IGCSE" for our juniors, including resources, centers, and schools. As our content expanded to cover other international education systems like A-levels, OSSD, and AP, we decided to establish Conceptians as an official organization. With a website created by a programming enthusiast friend, branding managed by a skilled painter friend, and social media promotion initiated by me, Conceptians came to life.

To gain validation, we sought the support of our school principal to issue community service certificates and assist in recruiting students as volunteers. Our school also provided funding for website development. Thanks to this support, we successfully recruited over 50 students to help run the organization. Within Conceptians, I serve as a leader, Chief Writer, Chief Editor, and Social Media Manager. Our team writes about study abroad, English, exams, standardized tests, and scholarships, providing thoroughly researched and comprehensive information. Under my guidance, our content is tailored to the community's needs, resulting in hundreds of shares and significant impact.

Conceptians, initially created to share resources with fellow juniors, has grown into a nonprofit organization benefiting Burmese students. We now operate with over 100 volunteers in seven departments and two divisions: Blue Finch Foundation and UniFied Orgs, each with its own specific vision and mission. As we look to the future, we plan to implement grant projects to further our mission.

UniFied Orgs

Nov 11, 2023 — Prsent

UniFied Orgs (UFO) is one of the three divisions under Conceptians. Each division operates as a smaller organization within Conceptians, possessing its own vision and mission. UFO's vision is to enhance relationships between youth organizations and bridge the gap between the public and non-profits.

UFO's Vision

  1. To enhance relations between youth organizations.

  2. To bridge the public and non-profit sectors.

Projects and Initiatives by UFO

  1. Tat Kyi Lite Pr - Weekly Journal UFO tackles the issue of missing out on valuable free webinars, seminars, classes, and workshops offered by various youth organizations in Myanmar. The "Tat Kyi Lite Pr - Weekly Journal" aggregates all such events into one place, available on our Telegram Channel. Each week, we also feature the top four opportunities on Conceptians’ Facebook page under "Editor's Choice," presenting the most valuable and timely opportunities for the youth.

  2. YOUTHnified Fair This event brings together 21 youth organizations, each with their own booth, to showcase their projects and volunteer recruitment efforts. It's a vibrant and engaging fair where organizations can directly interact with the public, sharing their visions and missions. This fair is one of UFO's standout projects.

  3. YOUTHnified Fair Website To extend the reach of the fair, we are developing a website that compiles the visions, missions, and contact information of the participating organizations. This site aims to increase public awareness and engagement with these youth organizations. Though still in progress, the website can be previewed at www.unifiedorgs-ufo.net.

  4. Volunteer Radar UFO will soon launch "Volunteer Radar," an initiative designed to notify the public about volunteer recruitment drives by various youth organizations. This project aims to encourage more people to get involved in meaningful volunteer work.

  5. SDG Enthusiasts Meetup Modeled after networking events for business professionals, this meetup will focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will bring together individuals passionate about sustainability, providing a platform for networking, idea-sharing, and collaboration. This event is also in the pipeline.

These projects aim to foster connections among non-profits, enhance public knowledge about these organizations, and strengthen community engagement.

UFO operates under the motto "Converging Communities," striving to be a bridge between non-profits and the public.

Blue Finch Foundation

Jan 1, 2024 — Present

Blue Finch Foundation (BFF) is a newly established division of Conceptians aimed at providing valuable free online classes for young students while engaging in charitable activities. The inspiration behind BFF started with the idea of offering free online classes. However, we encountered a significant issue: the notion of "free" often led to people undervaluing the classes. Attendance was inconsistent, and respect for the teachers was lacking.

To address this, we came up with an innovative solution. While the classes remain free, students are required to make a deposit before enrolling. If they complete the course and all assignments, they receive a full refund. This ensures commitment and accountability. If a student fails to complete the course, their deposit is donated to orphanages and charity organizations in need.

This approach creates a win-win situation: students are motivated to learn, and those who don't complete the course contribute to a good cause. Additionally, students who finish the course can either take back their deposit or choose to donate a portion of it.

Our BFF facilitators and teachers volunteer their time, while sponsorships cover necessary expenses. Initially, we started with content writing and graphic designing courses led by John and Erik. As we grow, we plan to introduce more classes with the help of volunteer teachers.

BFF officially launched on January 1st, symbolizing a fresh start for the new year.

10/10 Institute

Nov 7, 2023 — Present

The world is changing rapidly, revolutionizing the way we see careers. It is no longer a 9-to-5 job which requires a bachelor degree to get in. At the comfort of our home, we can work more efficiently and earn even better while working multiple jobs at once. Getting a job is not astoundingly difficult: we only need to show or prove how useful we can be towards the business!

“Digital Remote Jobs” have been increasingly popular since the start of the 21st century. People from the western countries—so-called digital nomads—have been traveling across the world while sustainably making money virtually. Yet, many people from Myanmar failed to notice. Despite the accessibility and convenience these jobs bring, they stick to traditional careers paying an extreme amount of money to acquire a degree which might not even be relevant to their desired careers.

“10/10 Enterprises” will solve all the aforementioned problems, from enabling people to acquire the professional skills ‘affordably’ to working with high-paying clients from western countries.

Our first Venture, “10/10 Institute” offers affordable courses in Live Zoom classes & Video classes, encompassing a wide range of digital careers such as content writing, graphic designing, and so on. Our courses are tailored to the market needs and taught by leading professionals from the various industries. Plus, our assignment system ensured the successful learning experience. It is even more accessible as we offer need-based scholarships to those who can’t afford the class fee.
